Our organisation exists to ensure that workers are protected in the work they do and to promote their physical, mental and social wellbeing in the workplace. We have a reputation for providing comprehensive packages of occupational health interventional services to suit our client’s needs. We are trusted to design, plan, implement and evaluate these services against existing internal performance measures which we regularly exceed.
Our vision is to be a centre of excellence in the UK market for providing services that help organisations maximise health and wellbeing in their workplace. Our nurses, doctors, CBT therapists and physiotherapists are leading the way in modern, objective and evidence based practice. We know how difficult it can be to find occupational health services that truly perform and really deliver the investment your business deserves. We understand the challenges of poor health in the workplace and we realise how hard it is not only to find excellent occupational health you can rely on, but then to manage and harness the specialist contribution you have bought. For this reason we are closely aligning our work to current government strategy which is promoting work as ‘good for health’. Our specialist area now is vocational rehabilitation. a system of care co-ordination, with the goal of helping your workers get better and to return to work in a productive role, in a timely way. We can provide you with pathways to achieve this. For example, psychotherapy, training & coaching, debt management, management support, and physiotherapy.
We use a bio-psychosocial approach which systematically considers biological, psychological, and social factors and their complex interactions in understanding health, illness, and health care delivery. Our practitioners are trained and supervised to apply the bio-psychosocial approach to their work and we provide pathways to effective rehabilitation using the same practitioners in the following ways;
- Recognise that relationships are central to providing health care
- Use self-awareness as a diagnostic and therapeutic tool
- Elicit the patient’s history in the context of life circumstances
- Decide which aspects of biological, psychological, and social domains are most important to understanding and promoting the patient’s health
- Provide multidimensional treatment options.

We realise that unfortunately, providing excellent, independent and evidence-based occupational health is hard to do and particularly so in what can be a difficult and contentious field of medicine. Sometimes the best advice is the least welcome, and pressures can be applied to the quality of professional practice and best practice approaches that may attract conflict and complaint. We are very confident in the quality and resilience of the OHNC’s but our model ensures that from time to time they may need higher levels of clinical supervision and they may need to escalate complex cases. This provides protection and professional support with authority whereby best practice will be recognised, delivered and defended. We will provide accredited Occupational Physicians for complex cases on an adds needs basis or for regular work in which a physician opinion is required.
At your request we can provide qualified and accredited Consultant Occupational Physicians to act as your Chief Medical Officer (CMO) who will provide independent senior level professional advice on legislation, health surveillance, occupational health issues, contingency planning and emerging issues, as required to your senior management. We recognise your organisation demands strategic thinking and carefully implemented planning and policies. Integrating effective health and wellbeing strategies into your business and planning will need careful thought and focused action.
